Our Response to the covid-19 pandemic
The Congo Peace Project has worked closely with our partners at Panzi Hospitals and Foundations to address the COVID-19 pandemic as it spreads across Bukavu, Congo, Africa, and the world.
The people of the Congo face a desperate situation as the global pandemic evolves. With limited access to quality health care, many of Congo’s most vulnerable people will be most affected by the spread of the novel coronavirus. We must ACT now in order to ensure the future of the Congolese people. That is why we are announcing the launch of the Congo Peace Project’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
We are committing the next month to raise funds for the Panzi Foundation.
Please consider a way that you can give. We have outlined three ways you can do so today:
Give any amount towards our fund. Be sure to specify that you would like your funds to be allocated to the project COVID-19 Response Fund.
Share a bingo board challenge on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) with varying dollar amounts people can give, in the hopes of getting a #blackout4congo. Get your friends, coworkers, family, and neighbors together (virtually) to do some good. If you are interested please email:
Purchase a shirt from a Portland small business. $5 of your purchase will be given right back to us at the Congo Peace Project.
